Average review score:

A must for all genealogists with roots in Georgia.
The Cherokee County Georgia Land Records books are some of the best I have found for searching land records. Not only do the entries make you feel as if you are looking at the deed itself, but the format is easy to understand, and the index is great. A must have for anyone searching in Georgia.

When Heather went to L.A. two years ago she had no idea that her brother was married to the daughter of the head of the L.A. mob and that they would end up on the run so the lovers could stay together. Now, Heather's sister-in-law is dying of cancer so she went back to her father for the end of life care she needs. Heather's brother and sister-in-law convince Heather to claim their baby as her own in order to protect the child from the mob. She tells the mob that the baby is her and Michael's. Heather convinces Michael to let her and the baby stay with him for six months or so and act like the boys father. At that time, they will say that things just didn't work out after all. Michael is reluctant to claim the baby as his own at first but right away realizes that he cannot let anything happen to the little boy. It's not long before Michael truly considers the boy his son and is trying to find a way to keep Heather in his life permanently.

Sheri Whitefeather has again written a sexy as sin hero who will melt your heart.

A Cherokee Feast of Days
Published in Audio CD by Council Oak Books (October, 1997)
Author: Joyce Sequichie Hifler

An uplifting little book!
The second edition of "A Cherokee Feast of Days" is as uplifting as the first. One can follow it daily to get an insight or inspiration, or, as I often do, scan it to find something that is pertinant now. The second edition uses more modern day situations than the first, so it will be more meaningful to young people. I only wish this edition had an index like the first edition. So far I have given 3 copies of the first edition and 3 copies of the second edition to family and friends. I am ordering 4 more copies today. It is a wonderful little book!

Cherokee Rose
Having grown up around the rodeo, I could relate to the heroine. When I rode my first bull, it was not something females did very often. I loved the book and believe it would make a fantastic movie. Linda Dockery

Cherokee Thunder: American Hero (Silhouette Intimate Moments, No 463)
Published in Paperback by Harlequin (December, 1992)
Author: Rachel Lee
Average review score:

Conrad County #2- Deep rich storyline
From the back of the book:
Two Live Depended On Him

Michah Parish: Deputy Sherif. Six-feet four inches of solid muscle. Half-Cherokee. Tought , proud , a loner.

Faith Williams: Mother to be. Fragile looking blonde running for her life. Quiet, scared of her own shadow.

Protecting the people of Conrad County was deputy sheriff Micah Parish's job, but protecting Faith was about to become his life's work. Pregnant, alone and stalked by her abusive ex-husband, Faith needed more than a place to hide and a strong shoulder to lean on. She needed someone to end her nightmare. And Micah needed someone to start his dream.

This is a wonderful rich emotional tale- signature Rachel Lee. Strong characterizations and truly heroic potrayal of her leads. This is one of the scariest books to deal with domestic violence but also one of the most accurate and sensitive.

Excellent
I work at a Cherokee historic site and I highly recommend this book. It reads like a novel and is gripping! By far the most in-depth, unbiased work written on the "Trail of Tears". If you buy no other Cherokee history book, buy this one!
